San Francisco launches its events

Joe Landini and SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts are collaborating with a host of international choreographers on a transnational collaboration of epic proportions, and YOU can be a part of it!

Seven to the Seventh instigates active co-creation to celebrate interconnections between local and global mutually affective citizenship.

This innovative week-long event is the brainchild of Athens resident choreographer Ana Sánchez-Colberg. We are connecting seven urban sites in seven different time zones through live streaming with shared audio and improvisational scores.

There will be a leading city on each of the seven days that will perform at 7pm in their time zone, and each of the other collaborating cities will tune in via live streaming to observe, participate, create, and experience right alongside them.

HOW CAN YOU BE A PART OF THIS? All you need is a desire to move; no experience required. Joe will be leading a series of 3 workshops leading up to the performances at SAFEhouse at 145 Eddy St.

You can attend all or none if you wish. Workshops are not required to observe or participate in the performances. All workshops and performances are FREE.

We will be learning about how to follow an improvisational score in order to co-create. We are also looking for movers who wish to be leaders and help to host and run one of the days of the event.

If you are interested in helping with one of the days please reach out to Joe at joe@safehousearts.org
